Lake Havasu City Police officers were patrolling McCulloch Boulevard Sept. 14 when they were waved down by the manager of a nearby bar. According to the police report, Terry L. Pippenger, 24, and Isaiah L. Pippenger, 26, both of Columbia, Missouri, were detained by security staff before police arrived.
Police say Isaiah Pippenger continued to shout profanities as a crowd gathered, and refused to divulge any information to officers – including his name – without the presence of an attorney. According to police, both men displayed disruptive behavior at the location, and resisted the bar’s security as they were escorted from the business. Police say both men were trespassed from the business earlier that evening.
According to the report, a third man, identified as 26-year-old Havasu resident Rodolfo M. Garcia, was also taken into custody at the scene. Garcia was not part of the incident, but allegedly accosted one of the responding officers as the Pippengers were detained. Police say Garcia resisted arrest when he refused to place his hands behind his back, prompting officers to force him to ground before he was taken into custody.
