Editor: This letter is in response to R. Miller’s Nov. 7 letter. Miller basically called me a fool for speaking my mind. He said that fools open their mouths and prevent all doubt, and I guess the same could be said of him.
I’m very much aware of the impeachment process but in trying to limit the number of words in my letter, didn’t feel the need to school readers on the process. Most Americans know very well what the impeachment process is, that impeachment should be used sparingly, and should not be used by politicians for political retribution as the Democrats are now doing.
Miller also called me a fear monger but I don’t see it that way. I am truly afraid of what America will become if Democrats control government. Democrats can’t get over the 2016 loss to President Trump. They have no policies on which to run the country, other than getting rid of the Trump tax cuts, doing away with Trump’s trade deals, stopping us from becoming energy independent, ruining the Trump economy, race baiting, stopping the building of our border wall, putting illegals before Americans, and playing identity politics where they try to put everyone into tight-fitting boxes and then pit them against one another.
Here is more fear mongering: If Democrats control our government, we’ll see more disrespect of law enforcement, our military, ICE, and Border Patrol. We’ll have more sanctuary cities/states and lawlessness will increase. After all, if politicians who wrote the laws don’t think they have to follow them, all hell will break lose.
Democrats want to limit freedom of speech, often labeling anyone who doesn’t line up with them ideologically as hate and fear mongers. Democrats can’t seem to accept people that they don’t agree with and, thus, resort to name calling, shaming and bullying to shut down opinions of those they don’t like or want to hear. As I said in my other letter, if this is the government you want, vote for a Democrat in 2020; if not, vote to re-elect President Trump in 2020.
